You know what makes me shake my head? That I have to hear the tiny voice saying "Ho-hum" ... "HO-HUM!" ... "HEY! Is this thing on???" before I finally gear up for an overdue change. And if I'm doing it, I know everyone's doing it.

The crazy thing is, as soon as I make the change I'm excited. I've got new stuff to do and I can't wait. It doesn't matter what the change is... it gets the motor humming along in a new gear.

Does it cost more? Nope. Does it add to your overloaded schedule? Nope. Does it catch others by surprise and get them thinking differently about you? Absotively!

This post makes me think about the good predictable (my brother likes that I can be counted on to prepare for anything in detail), and the not-so-good predictable (my brother hates that I expect him to be prepared to the Nth detail...) Thanks for getting me thinking... about a pending family feud ~ !
